The mentoring component insures quality After completing the five day training, new instructors will be mentored by a certified Response trainer during their first two day workshop!
The mentoring component provides hands-on theoretical and technical support for new trainers. Response offers one of the most comprehensive instructor trainings in crisis intervention.
More than four instructors may be mentored at the same time. Mentoring sites are mutually agreed upon by Response and the contracting agency.
New Lesson Plans and Yearly Refreshers Maintain certification by attending yearly 1 day refreshers where you will be:

- -- Debriefing after a critical incident

A written and practical exam is given at the end of the five day training.
This in depth course would benefit everyone from administrators to direct care staff. Having an in-house trainer is a cost effective measure allowing you to provide on going trainings, In-house trainers are role models and leaders for staff and clients.
